Will I be eating a balanced diet at the Student Services cafeterias and bistros? As we are a service organisation for students we consider we have a special obligation to support you during your studies with meals of a very high quality. For more information please see: Quality (information about the quality of our food).
How do you approach the ecological aspect of food in your menus? We are really pleased that our customers are particularly aware and demand high standards regarding how environmentally friendly, sustainable and also socially and ethically responsible we are when it comes to buying produce and preparing meals. We place great emphasis on this aspect of our quality control and rate it very highly; this consideration is an entrenched component of our business approach. We therefore offer organic products as individual meal components at all our food outlets. You can find more detailed information here: Ökologie (information on our ecological approach).
Do you include any religious food requirements when planning your menus? To some extent. As we cannot be certain that the foods prepared and offered by us will be accepted as authentic, for example, when faithful Muslims are seeking "halal" dishes, we do not describe our dishes as "halal". Rather, we limit ourselves to describing what kind of meat is on the menu. We always offer an alternative to pork dishes.
